Land Sales

Remember that most prices in The Gambia are negotiable and the price listed is the first asking price. It may be possible to get the property for less.

You are strongly advised to buy land via a solicitor to protect yourself. There are many people (including Europeans) who will sell you land they do not own.

When you try to start building you will fond people turning up with the real deeds dated earlier than yours and you will then have to try and get your money back through the courts.
